💎We use flawless VS1 stones that are naturally derived called moissanite and have a hardness almost the same as a diamond. The properties of the two are so similar, that it passes on a traditional diamond tester. Due to all these factors, it is very difficult to tell apart a diamond and a moissanite, making "Gems from the Angels" an extremely budget smart choice without sacrificing quality, especially if you were seeking a full size certified diamond that was financially out of your range.

"Moissanite" was discovered by Henri Moissan while examining a crater made from a huge meteor hit located in Canyon Diablo Arizona, in 1893. At first, he mistakenly identified it thinking that it was a massive diamond filled meteor sent from the Angels that created this crater, but in 1904 he finally identified them as silicon carbide. The mineral crystal form of silicon carbide was named "Moissanite" in honor of Moissan later on in his life.☄️

Until the 1950s, no other source for moissanite other than meteorites had been encountered. Then, in 1958, moissanite was also found in a diamond mine in Yakutia.

The crystalline structure of these gems are held together with strong covalent bonding similar to diamonds, that allows moissanite to withstand high pressures up to 52.1 gigapascal. That allows for the final process that gives us the fiery stunning VS1 quality and D color grade on the diamond color and grading scale.
